In San Mateo Atenco —a town steeped in shoemaking tradition, just a short distance from Mexico’s capital— lies the heart of Orozco Handcrafted: our family workshop. For three generations, we have carried forward an unwavering commitment to excellence, creating boots, shoes, and accessories with the dedication and precision that only true craftsmanship can achieve. The materials are as important as the hands that shape them. We work exclusively with leather sourced from León, Guanajuato —renowned for its quality and heritage. Every cut, stitch and finish reflects the pride of doing things the right way. Our workshop is located on the first floor of a three-story family home, where daily life continues on the floors above. This closeness between craft and family infuses soul and authenticity into each piece we create. While the workshop hums with the rhythm of tools, upstairs our family gathers, ensuring that tradition, values, and passion remain alive. Here, there are no shortcuts. Each boot, shoe, and accessory is the result of skilled hands and a legacy passed down through generations. Orozco Handcrafted was born in San Mateo Atenco, just outside Mexico City. For three generations, our family workshop has carried on the tradition of fine shoemaking, using only premium leather from León, Guanajuato.
